it was real good seeing the guys last night in ottawa. i hadn't seen them since....... october 4th, 2005. mhm.

so the show was at centrepointe theatre, this great space which quickly filled up with happy ottawonians. (?) my dad and i got front row seats, because where else would we want to sit? i was spotted i think by matt sometime in the first half, though i have no idea why his attention was drawn to me, i wasn't screaming really loud and my dad wasn't going "YEAH SHELDON!" or "GO MATT!" every so often....

anyway, the show was great, despite a few technical difficulties with the sound. those guys are seasoned pros, though, and i don't think the audience really cared about the little explosions we were hearing, because the guys were so awesome anyway. (der.) plus i think the sounds were a lot more in the monitors so they heard a lot more of it that we did. oh, and we got to hear a new tune, too... "to boot". realllll good stuff.

at intermission i was greeted by a nice suprise, my friend andy who moved to calgary a few years ago recently moved to ottawa and saw that he pjs were playing. i guess i sometimes talk about them (who knew?) and he figured i'd show up, so he came! blew my mind!

hanging out with the guys after was also a nice treat, of course. lots of talk about future plans, dutchmen and ions. good times!

i'll try scanning the poster i stole later on. it is pretty much the greatest poster ever.
